Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 3/16/19
This past week took a hit on productivity as we seemed to be in a constant state of change and getting to where it appeared the fish moved was a tough move. Water current on the main river was so strong that working into the current pull was nearly impossible and fishing with it was too fast to create a bite. Consequently, for me we struggled this past week as bites were at a premium.
We tried to stick to our pattern of rattle baits SPRO Aruka shad, Picasso shock Blades, SPRO square bills and Tight-Line swim jigs rigged with Missile bait swim baits. The biggest thing we tried to do was cover water all week as finding groups of fish was spotty at best and unless you stayed on your trolling motor it was tough. We were forced to stay is less than 6 ft. of water most of the week because of the current.
Come fish with me I have guides and days available to fish with you, no one will treat you better or work harder to see you have a great time on the water. We fish with great sponsor products, Lowrance Electronics, Ranger Boats, Boat Logix Mounts, T&H Marine products, Duckett Fishing, Vicious Fishing, Navionics mapping and more!
