Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 3/23/19
This past week for me was not at all what I expected, the bass were spotty and a finding a consistent pattern was a challenge. Yes, we caught fish but you worked hard for the bites and finding a pattern that you could count on was a tough task. The good news is that the pattern the fish were in was one that over the years tells me that its about to really bust loose and some great improvement is right around the corner.
Baits were still very similar expect the soft plastic bite is picking up every day and generally when that occurs the lake shows great improvement from one week to another. We fished big worms, Missile bait “48” stick baits, SPRO Aruka Shad, Tight-Line football jigs and Picasso Shock Blades. We fished mainly in less than 6 ft. of water and tied to work our baits slowly.
Come fish with us I have guides and days available to fish with you, no one works harder to see you have a great day on the water. We fish with great sponsor products, Lowrance Electronics, Ranger Boats, Boat Logix mounts, Duckett Fishing, Navionics mapping, T&H marine products, Vicious Fishing and more.
