Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 4/13/19
The lake has finally turned on, the daily consistency is the best its been all year, catching fish was at its best all season. The biggest difference is the weather was better making the fish stay in a similar pattern all week, you could find them most of the week doing the same thing from depth to movement every day.
The only thing that you had to do was slow down, keep you bait on the bottom and just keep fishing the grass and edges of the structure. We used most of the different Missile Bait soft plastics, D-Bombs, D-Stroyers, “48” stick baits and kept them on the bottom. Some of our fish came from the Tight-Line Swim jig but that was the lone ranger when I was searching for fish. The lake should get much easier for the rest of the spring and early summer until we get really-hot, keep fishing from 3 to 9 ft. of water and you will find all different stages of fish.
Come fish with me no one will treat you better or work harder to see you have a great day on the water. We fish with great sponsor products Lowrance Electronics, Ranger boats, Mercury motors, Boat Logix mounts, Vicious Line, Duckett Fishing, T&H marine, Picasso Lures, Power Pole, Navionics mapping and more.
