Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 6/29/19
We have finally seen some change in the lake the oxygen levels seem to be getting depleted and the change is affecting the bite; couple that with bright sunshine the last few days and it’s adding up to a summertime bite. Early in the day we have been chasing the top water bite, sometimes it has paid off others not so much, the floating grass has you bait limited in many areas of the lake. Some days we found fish in 25 ft. and others it was 8 ft. or less nothing was consistent for us.
The offshore bite still has paid off some but your fighting the grass flies and they can be very annoying. We still working Tight-Line swim jigs and football jigs with Missile Bait trailers either D-Bombs, Craw Fathers, or Shock Waves. The key to finding with has been keep covering water at some point they will feed, and you will be in the right location, you have to fish all types of cover, grass, stumps rock until an area produces and it seemed everyday was different.
Come fish with me I have days and guides available to fish with you, no one will treat you better or work harder to see you have a great time on the water. We fish with great sponsor products T&H Marine, Lowrance Electronics, Ranger Boats, Mercury Motors, Vicious Fishing, SPRO Fishing, Duckett Fishing, Navionics mapping, Boat Logix mounts and more.
