Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 7/13/19
Water temperatures in the 88-degree range did not dampen the bite; surprising for sure as I expected it to be quite different. The fish were active, and the big fish were also feeding, we had several 5 to 7 lb. fish this week with the biggest being 7 lbs. 5 oz. plus lots of numbers and schooling fish.
The better news is the floating grass is finally starting to disappear and the top water bite is easier than it’s been all year. We are having plenty of success on Picasso buzz baits, Zara spooks and pop-r’s. We are still fishing the Tight-Line swim jig over grass and catching is great along with Missile bait Shock Wave Swim Baits, and also fishing big worms in the grass in 8 to 12 ft. of water.
Come fish with me no one will treat you better, we have the most inclusive guide service o the lake, experienced guides, great equipment and plenty of energy and enthusiasm. We fish with great sponsor products, Lowrance Electronics, Ranger Boats, Mercury Motors, Vicious Fishing, SPRO Fishing, Boat Logix Mounts, Duckett Fishing, Navionics mapping, Power Pole, T&H marine products and more.
