Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 7/20/19
It was and up and down week for us this past week; there were times we caught fish and had lots of opportunities then there were the slow times. The key was the current many days the current was not easy to detect and others it was swift and caused the fish to be active. There is a top water bite and that was a lot of fun, but it was limited to the early hours of the day. Schooling fish really made a difference in the bite and the numbers.
We stuck to many of the baits that have been getting us bites, Tight-Line swim jigs, with Missile Bait shock Wave swim baits, big worms, Zara spooks and pop-r’s for the top water bite. We concentrated on 8 ft. grass with deep water near bye.
Come fish with me no one will treat you better or work harder to see you have a great day on the water. It’s time to get your fall fishing dates set; we have guides and days available to fish with you. We fish with great sponsor products, Lowrance Electronics, Ranger Boats, Mercury motors, Boat Logix mounts, Duckett Fishing, SPRO Fishing, Vicious Fishing, Navionics mapping, Picasso Lures and more.
