Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 8/29/20
The rain and wind will help the bite as we move into the fall and this past week showed some signs of just that. With the hurricane moving along the edge of Alabama the wind moved the grass around changed the surface water temperature allowing the thermocline to dispurse some along the bottom. The moves the oxygen around and puts the fish on the move.
This past week we continued to worked ledges, looking for areas of water movement using Missile Bait D-Bombs, 48 stick baits, big worms and other plastics to locate fish. When the wind forced us off the ledges, we used Picasso Spinner baits as the flash helped locate target areas for fish, we also located fish on Tight-Line swim jigs.
