Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 9/29/18
The beginning of the week was completely different than the end of the week, at least for me. We went from normal fall water levels to high levels with TVA spilling water because of the strong rains. By the end of the week the lake was muddy, and my frog bite had eroded to a tough way to catch a fish.
I opened the week working on SPRO frog fishing looking for active mats and addicting explosions; only to have to move off the mats and work Picasso spinner baits, Tight-Line swim jigs and worms off the edges to catch fish. The bite moved from 4 to 6 ft. of water under mats to 10 plus ft. on the edges. The water temperature is showing some signs of slowly dropping into the 70’s and should really bring daily improvement as it continues to cool.
Come fish with me no one will treat you better or work harder to see you have a great time on the water. I have days and guides available to fish with you, we fish with great sponsor products, Lowrance Electronics, Ranger Boats, T&H marine products, Boat Logix mounts, Navionics mapping, Vicious Fishing, Duckett Fishing and more!
