Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 1/13/17
On my way to the Huntsville Boat show, so if you're coming to the show stop by the Dawson Boat Center display and lets catch up!
Fishing this week slowed at the beginning of the week as the extreme cold we had for about 6 days straight really slowed the bite; by the end of the week though fishing really turned back on. There has been several really big fish caught this week my biggest was 6.13 but there were several 9's caught making the old heart pump with great enthusiasm.
The bite for me has been on SPRO McRip jerk baits in their cell mate color along with SPRO Aruka Shad rattle baits and Missile Bait new 48 stick bait. Slow presentation has been the key even with the rattle bait just trying to slowly tick the grass and cause a reaction. Right now it is typical winter fishing with bites being mainly good solid fish and requiring you to use patience and not miss your bites. As always on Guntersville some green grass around always seems to help you find the fish.
Come fish with me no one will treat you better or work harder to see you have a great time on the water; we fish with great sponsor products; Navionics charts, Lowrance fish finders, Vicious Line, Duckett reels and rods. It just doesn't get much better than my sponsor line up! I have guides and days available to fish with you, call now let's get your dates locked down for 2017.
