Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 1/27/18
A little warming this week, some water temperature increases, a little sunshine and the fishing picked up by the end of the week tremendously. We started out the week with the water temperature in the mid-day around 41 degrees, by the end of the week the mid-day temperatures were around 46 degrees. Although this was surface temperature the bass did move up some to feed because of it.
Sure, it was not pre-spawn fishing, but it was better than its been as many folks went several days on the water without a bite. The good times are near, my fish this week were mid-day bites in less than 10 ft. of water. I fished several baits, Tight-Line jigs, Picasso Shock Waves, SPRO Aruka Shad, and Missile bait 48 stick baits. All had their moments with the jig rigged for winter fishing with a few adjustments were the best.
Come fish with me know one will treat you better or work harder to see you have a great day on the water. The spring is near the pre-spawn bite should pick up in February and the best is in front of us. I have days and guides available to fish with you. Let us put you on the water on lake Guntersville catching your personal best.
