Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 1/31/16
As I have stated too many of my friends I am going to try and start my journey back from my surgery and back on the water fishing. Today I started that process as I spent a couple of hours on the water in a friends boat just kind of hanging out and trying to see if I could tolerate the boat. It wasn't easy but I did ok so more to come; little steps and hope for the best!
Fishing was tough for most that hit the water today, seems the cold water temps are locking up the fish. With the water temps around 46 degrees you would think that the fish are moving to the deeper edges and finding them in groups would be the ticket, not so a bite here and there so a little frustrating. It's winter folks and the bite is slow but the quality should be good for size. Keep working jigs, jerk baits, traps and swim baits eventually it will pay off.
I am booking out for the spring with myself and my guides we have days available to fish with you, no one will treat you better!
