Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 1/6/18
With this last week being the coldest weather we have seen in several years there’s not much to tell about the fishing. We were limited because the bays were iced over and just dealing with the cold temperatures made most folks stay in the house. This will end my friends and we will be back fishing shortly.
The good news is that my 2018 Ranger 521L is rigged and ready to go and I will be sporting a new ride on the water; its Ranger newest hull design being the 521L and I can tell you I am excited to put it in the water.
Back to fishing with the cold, ice and tough conditions the fish should be grouped up and when you find them work the area thoroughly and make lots of cast with different presentations from different angles. Change colors, change baits and work the fish until you are sure there gone. Work depths of 12 ft. to 20 ft. and you should find a few good bites.
Come fish with me no one will treat you better or work harder to see you have a great day on the water. Spring booking time is now don’t delay let’s get you set for your spring fishing trip. Call now to set it up; I have guides and days available to fish with you.
