Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 1/7/17
My report will still be somewhat second hand as I spent the holidays over dosing on college football and working to get the little things worked out on my new 2017 Ranger. As always my new Ranger is for sale with a pick up date of November 2017; it's always sold in February with the pick-up date so if you're interested we can talk more just let me know.
Back to fishing it appears we have seen a big movement to the deeper water as the early day bite seems much deeper than it has been, when the day warms on the sunny days there is still a lot of movement feeding in the shallow water. This time of year for me is generally all about SPRO McRip jerk baits. Tight-Line football jigs and Missile bait soft plastics, there has been good results on the new Missile Bait 48 which is their version of a stick bait developed to be dead stick with very light weights or even weight-less. It's a little different with some slow change movement that has been very enticing for the patient dead stick fisherman. Winter time is very much about slow presentation and this new Missile Bait 48 will be a great change up for the colder water.
Come fish with me no one will treat you better or work harder to see you have a great time on the water. I have days and guides available to fish with you; 2017 will be a great year it's time to lock down your fishing dates on Lake Guntersville now! We fish with great sponsor baits like Duckett, Vicious, Picasso and more.
