Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 10/14/17
This week started out slow with bites being at a premium and as the mornings cooled and the wind picked up some, the fortunes of the week changed drastically for me. We moved from a struggling bite to some really good active days with the bigger fish making a statement that there not just around for their looks.
The frog bite slowed for me but other baits made up the change and we had had some days with 25 fish or more and some good solid 4 plus pound fish along with them. I made a big change to the Picasso shock blade chatter bait rolling it over the top of scattered grass having great success is 7 ft. of water. We also continued our catching on the Missile Bait “48” stick bait it has really caught the numbers not only this past week but for that last month or more. I have had some success on Tight-Line swim jigs but that bite is still a work in progress.
Come fish with me no one will treat you better or work harder to see you have a great day on the water. I have days and guides available all through the fall and would love to meet you and take you on a day of fun. We fish with great sponsor baits Duckett, Vicious, Lowrance Electronics, SPRO, Ranger Boats and more.
