Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 10/15/16
The change from the beginning of the week to the end was extremely noticeable; we struggled for bites early in the week then a light came on and the last few days were really much better. I think the water temperature has equalized where the bottom which was much warmer has cooled significantly and now we have water temps all through the water tables into the low to mid 70's.
The other noticeable change from the early part of the week was the number of bites; one day we either caught a fish or missed one at every stop we made making the day extremely enjoyable; at least we had our chances all day long to catch fish. It looks like the buzz bait bite might be heating up for the first time this fall as well as some of the traditional chase baits that we have been using. My choice has been my go to bait; Tight-Line swim jigs, Missile bait Shock Wave swim baits, Picasso Lures buzz baits, along with Punisher spinner baits.
I think we are headed for the best month this fall with November being what might be our make-up-month for the fall bite. Come fish with me I have guides and days available to fish with you; no one will treat you better. I have days and licensed USCG guides with many years of experience on Lake Guntersville!
