Fishing Report Lake Guntersville 10/21/17
If you’re looking for a way to escape the daily pressures getting on the lake in late October with the fall colors and serenity of the lake, fishing can be just what the doctor ordered. Even better than that is the pure fact that the fishing will be great up through Thanksgiving with the bass feeding-up for the winter.
This past week saw some improvement in the things that matter and time spent on the water was lots of fun. We are still fishing in that 10 to 12 ft. range finding fish in scattered grass and around boat docks indicating the fall movement has started. The most productive bait for me is still the Missile Bait ‘48” stick bait along with the Picasso spinner bait and Shock Blade chatter bait. Swim baits rigged several different ways all helped add some catches to the day. Also, the frog fisherman are still catching fish on the SPRO frog I haven’t worked it this week but it’s still producing in certain areas of the lake.
Come fish with me no one will treat you better or work harder to see you have a great day on the water. I have days and guides available to fish with you; it’s just a great time to be on the water. We fish with great sponsor products Lowrance Electronics, Ranger Boats, T&H Marine products, Duckett, SPRO and more.
