Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 10/24/15
Fishing had its ups and downs this past week, one day we find some good numbers although small fish then we struggle to get bit; I know why they call it fishing but it sure is aggravating. I do believe the best of the fall has yet to appear giving us plenty of reason to be on the water over the next month; look for some big time improvement moving into November.
If you haven't been on the water lately the grass is for sure dying off in many places on the lake, the water temperature is in the mid 60's early in the day and the bait is starting to show some movement off the grass out to the open water. All this points to great improvement as we move forward!
We are starting to change our baits up lately looking for more chasing although the SPRO frog is still part of our choices, I am fishing faster moving baits, Tight –Line jigs Swim Jig, Missile Bait Shock Wave swim baits, SPRO rock crawlers and square bills and rattle baits.
Come fish with me no one will treat you better, I have days and guides available to fish with you; I am also booking for the spring of 2016 get your dates secured early for next year.
