Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 10/8/16
There is no doubt we need some kind of drastic change in the weather, some rain and some temperature change to get the bass into the fall feeding mode. We have seen some movement but every time we take a step forward the weather turns hot and slows it back down to tough fishing. It's certainly been a strange fall finding good solid bites in any kind of consistently has been really tough.
We spent a most of the week working on frog bites for customers getting ready for the SPRO frog tournament this weekend, we spent hours on mats from Mud Creek to All Reds looking for the big blow ups; they were scarce but when they ate it was fun! We also had one day where we just went after bites landing 53 small fish in a 6 hour day, nothing bigger than 6 inches but it's what the customer wanted to do.
The fall will be short if we have one so it's best to finish the month with a good time in the water; come fish with me no one will treat you better or work harder to see you have great times fishing. I have days and guides available to fish with you.
