Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 10/19/13

Cooler nights should be the ticket for some big catches going forward, the water temperature dropped 4 degrees this past week from the cooler nights and should continue to drop this next week. This past week was a mixed bag of results, the good days were really great the slow days made you struggle.

We fished a variety of water, with the bigger fish still suspending around the bait but not really active. The small fish offered up some good fishing on a couple of trips, working schooling fish and pulling reaction baits like SPRO rattle baits and SPRO jerk baits to catch fish. The SPRO Bronzeye Shad frog had some good results when we had some sunny afternoons in the later part of the week, the bites were spread out but if you kept at it you could find some good bites.

Fishing looks stronger going forward with the cooler temperatures being forecasted. Come fish with me I have many available dates for November!
