Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 10/27/14
We saw a monumental change from tough fishing to good fishing this past week. Is it the best of fall fishing yet? Probably not but it came miles from where it was last week. You can tell by where the fish are that they are positioning for their run to the fall back of creeks and the best is yet to come. It is also evident by their attack on buzz baits that we are getting close to the best of the fall fishing.
We had some really good catches this past week with some 20 plus pound best of 5 sacks, to improvement in the numbers and opportunities. We were fishing Secret Weapon buzz baits over scattered grass, and just getting slammed by some monsters. We continued our jig fishing, working Tight-Line jigs with Missile Bait D-Bombs as trailers around the grass edges and staging areas of the lake.
If you fish hard and stay in the areas where there is bait present there is fish to be caught; this is key right now; no bait fish, no bites! Work the bait fish areas, keep you bait moving slow but making noise and you will catch fish! Come fish with me I have guides and days available to fish with you!
