Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 10/5/13
This past week had its challenges, the bright sunny days made for some tough bites especially after about 10 am each day. The cloudy sometimes foggy mornings made for some great fall fishing, but as the sun started to burn the clouds off the fishing slowed every day. The challenge was getting consistent bites, if you lost your concentration the number of bites made it hard to stay focused.
Most of our fish are still coming in 9 to 12 ft. of water fishing Tight-Line jigs with Missile Bait D-Bombs as trailers, I have seen signs of some top water activity but that for me at least has still not been consistent. SPRO Baby Little John crank baits in 9 to 10 ft of water has been a good bite for me all of this past week.
Fall fishing always has ups and downs until the grass breaks up and this past week has been no different. Come fish with me I have guides and days available to fish with you!
