Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 10/7/12
The week on Guntersville, seemed to change daily, there were times that we struggled, down time on the water and days that the bite was good all day long! The week went by quickly with customers from all over the country; I spent the last 2 days on the water with a couple of guys just on a fishing vacation; one day we struggled the second day was banner in all aspects, this describes most of the week. We caught really good numbers and we had some fish with decent size and we had opportunities all day long! That was the biggest change, the first day was kind of an opportunity here and there but the second day was strike after strike was just a small amount of down time.
The best bite of the week came on Assassinator buzz baits, white in color and red in color the key was small size like a 1/4 oz. and just an average amount of noise. We also caught them on Tight-Line jigs football head 1/2 oz. on humps. The hardest bite as far as slamming bait was on Punisher short arm spinner baits and Assassinator clacker spinner bait, they just slammed it. The soft plastic bite was good also with short Mister Twister worms mainly water melon color.
Fishing is showing some good signs of improvement; come fish with me I have days and guides available to fish with you; no one will treat you better.
