Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 11/19/16
After a temperature change and the water cooling along with the weather the bass seem to be acting a little more like traditional late fall fishing with the mid-day bite much better than the early bite. It appears the bass are located more in the deeper water early in the day and moving up with the warmth of the sun during the mid-day.
Once again if you find the bait you find the bass, it's just a little later in the day than last week. I also think baits have made some change to adjust to the later bite with moving baits while their feeding being key and slower baits early in the day like SPRO jerk baits and Tight-Line jigs. The fast moving baits we used were Missile Bait Shock Wave swim baits, and SPRO Little John XL crank baits. Early the fish were deeper and later in the day moved up to the shallower water.
We are seeing a lot of activity to get 2017 booked for many folks it's time to get your dates set up; come fish with me no one will treat you better or work harder to see you have a great day on the water. Looking for the perfect Christmas gift, I sell Christmas gift certificates good for one year from issue date, I only sell a limited amount of these every year, a great gift for your avid fisherman for Christmas.
