Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 11/4/17
With it being November one would think that we reached a consistent fall pattern on Lake Guntersville, but for me it’s still and up and down change as each day seems to present different challenges. Make no mistake about its always fun fishing and the everyday challenge is what gets me up and brings a sense of accomplishment to my day and week of fishing. Having said all that we had one day where we really wacked lots of fish, one day where we had some good size and a day where the bite was frustrating but it’s always fun and always makes my day.
Baits this week we really caught the numbers on SPRO Aruka Shad rattle baits over the top of grass they were deadly for numbers and action. We also continued our quest to find the Picasso spinner bait bite as it seemed to produce the size along with Tight-Line swim jigs and Missile bait Shock Wave swim baits and their “48’ stick bait worm slowly moving it over grass. Fishing about 10 to 12 ft. of water was one key, as far as depth.
