Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 11/16/13
The bass are as active as they have been all year, the downside is there is plenty of bait for them to feed on; getting them interested in an artificial bait can sometimes be a challenge. The key was just sticking with it and working baits in odd movements to get a reaction bite. Most days last week we were successful but we struggled getting them to react on Friday.
It's the time of year that any bait you can make long cast with will be successful, but you had to fish hard and be diligent to make it successful. We fished Spro rattle bates, Punisher Spinner baits and swim baits most of the week. We also worked top water some and worked the bottom with Tight-Line jigs during the slow periods.
Fishing is great, there is some down time and frustration when the fish don't pay attention to your bait because of all bait fish, but by the end of the day a big sack is for sure possible. Come fish with me I have days and guides available to fish with you!
