Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 11/2/13
Some monumental swings this past week, fishing is great one day and then struggled the next day! It is just amazing how different each day was! The water temperature was just getting to the prime fall targeted temperature of the 50 to 60 degree range and the last few days it pushed back up to the high 60's changing the bite along with the temperature. The fish that were staging for the fall bite moved back under the grass and activity slowed considerable.
We made enormous changes in baits as the fishing slowed from the front end of the week to the last off the week. We were seeing buzz bait bites and caught fish on many different baits like SPRO crank baits and then we had to down size slow down and change to baits we could get in the grass and leave on the bottom or work a SPRO frog over grass, but you needed endless patience to let it sit long enough to get a blow up.
The early part of the week made me feel like this was going to be a November to remember; I still feel that way, but we need the cold nights again to get them back feeding. Come fish with me I have days and guides available to fish with you!
