Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 11/3/12
The cold nights have finally set in around the north Alabama area, the fishing has benefitted some from the cold nights. First of all the grass has really started to show some strong signs of rotting away as the grass still showing on top is getting foamy! We have also had plenty of wind this past week and that should push around some of the grass and tear it off the top of the ledges. This is definitely a good sign for fishing.
I was only on the water a few days this week as I have some personal things I am involved in; when I was on the water the fish were definitely showing some signs of improvement and more action. We fished the mid river most of the week with fish counts better than last week for sure. We fished Assassinator buzz baits, Punisher spinner baits and we cranked square bills off the grass edges most of the week.
Look for a big improvement as we go into the first full week of November; we should see a run to the shallows and some improvement in the bait action and schooling fish!
