Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 11/9/14
The month of November on Guntersville is always one of the best months of the year, the water temperatures drop down into the 50's and 60's and the movement by the bass to shallows to feed up for the winter is fast and exhilarating. This November appears to be no different; sure we struggle some when the conditions are wrong but for the most part the first week November has been second to none. The bass are feeding and the good times are here.
The thing that we as fisherman have to adjust too is what we can use to move the bass from feeding on the gobs of bait fish to the artificial baits we can catch them with. Many years it is all about top water but so far this November it is more about being off the grass than being on it. Yes we are making catches with some traditional November baits like, pop'r and spooks and SPRO frogs but nothing has worked as well for me as Tight-Line swim jigs rigged with Missile Bait Shock Wave swim baits.
Come fish with me no one will treat you better, we work hard at making you smile and having a good time on the water. I have guides and days available to fish with you; if you're already looking into your 2015 fishing trip we are securing dates already for the 2015 year; call now to lock up your best dates.
