Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 12/1/17
This November might go down in my books as one of the best November months I have seen in many years; the reasons are simple 35 to 40 degree nights 65 degree days has the bass feeding and moving. Generally we get some real cold 20 degree nights and it shuts the bite down until the spring sun starts to warn things up again.
With the great fishing there have been more fishermen on the lake than the past and the pressure on the fall bite has been strong changing their locations quickly day after day. The bass are shallow in less than 6 ft. of water and actively chasing and feeding up before we really turn cold. I am still fishing chasing type baits with the Tight-Line swim jig rigged with Missile bait Shock Wave swim bait being my first bait of choice. I have also caught fish on SPRO Aruka shad rattle bait over the grass that is more eroded closer to the bottom.
Come fish with me no one will treat you better or work harder to see you have a great time on the water. If you’re looking for the ideal Christmas present for your fisherman partner or friend I have a limited number of Holiday gift certificates available that make great gifts. We fish with great sponsor partner products like Ranger Boats, T&H marine products, Vicious Line, Yamaha Motors and more.
