Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 12/30/17
As we approach the new year the fishing will improve over time and the warming days will serve as the best of the best for catching, so don’t get in a hurry to get to the water mid-morning through mid-afternoon is prime for catching.
The bass will have to be coaxed out of hiding so using noisy baits that make the water move or causes a vibration will be the ticket to catching fish. Picasso Chatter baits “Shock Blade” or SPRO Aruka Shad “rattle baits” will be a few that I would recommend. Finding grass on Guntersville is always a key so work those vibrating baits over, around and near grass beds in 8 to 12 ft. of water. Fish hard be consistent and do a variety of different presentations to get bites. Lastly be on the move the bass are grouped up, if there not in your favorite spot, keep moving until you find active fish.
Come fish with me no one will treat you better or work harder to see you have a great day on the water. We are booking now for the 2018 fishing season, we have guides, and experience ready to take you fishing. Call us now to get your preferred dates.
