Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 12/9/17
We have moved into December and with that colder weather has set in and changes in that fall bite we were having last week are imminent so expect some slower times on the water. The biggest thing that changed is the time of day as that early morning bite on these cold early part of the day switched to mid-morning through early afternoon looking for some sun and temperature increase to help move the bass.
Baits are still the same as the bass are slowly moving deeper but not all have moved off shore so Tight-Line Swim jigs rigged with Missile bait swim baits, Picasso chatter baits or “Shock Waves’ are a good choice to roll over different depths. I like taking deep running SPRO crank bait letting it dig the bottom in the open water or let it rise up into the schools of suspending fish. The bass right now are located anywhere from 4 to 20 ft. but as its gets more into winter that will change more to the deeper water.
Come fish with me no one will treat you better or work harder to see you have a great day on the water. I have days and guides available to fish with you; we also have Christmas gifts certificates available as a great present for your fishermen that are good for 1 year from issue date and good for 2 people.
