Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 12/13/14
If you like winter fishing this past week was just a terrific example of some great winter fishing; sure it was cold some and windy some but the rewards were worth it. You just had to preserver and when you did you eventually got into the fish. It was great for numbers on some days and great for size on others; and some was great in both aspects. One thing for sure you couldn't find the fish from the couch.
The great thing about this December seems to me to be the variety of baits the bass are feeding on, and the fact that they are still scattered around different depths. We caught some deep fish some fish in 8 ft. of water and some up shallow which was really a surprise, and caught a few on top water.
Baits were typically winter type baits as we got them to respond to Tight-Line swim jigs, with Missile Bait Shock Wave trailers, football jigs, SPRO crank baits and more. It is a great feeling to have them active on so many types of baits. Come fish with me no one will treat you better or see you have a great time on Guntersville. I am booking for 2015 call now to get your preferred date reserved.
