Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 12/15/12
The winter fishing is becoming magical for me, as the past few weeks and this past week we have had some of the best days of the year. The bigger fish are feeding, the numbers are up and finding them has been fairly simple.
I'm not fishing everyday as I do in the warmer weather put I have enjoyed my time on the water this past week as much as anytime this past year. I have been fishing from about 9am to 3 pm and finding lots of opportunities to catch fish. My best baits have been on Tight-Line jigs both regular head and football head. The A-rig has been successful in the deeper water, and as every winter a suspending jerk bait has also been a successful bait.
It's been a great winter so far, the fish are feeding, the weather is reasonable and the fun is coming in bunches; it just doesn't get much better than that. Come fish with me I have days available to fish with you!
