Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 12/8/12
The fishing is picking up every day on Guntersville. This past week was extremely rewarding and with catches of 35 or more fish with best 5 bags of 20 plus pounds. We worked mainly off the grass all week finding bait and working several different types of lures and different presentations.
Most of the week we fished with a variety of different lures, by far the most productive is the A-rig, it did not catch our biggest fish of the week but it did numbers; our biggest fish was caught on a swim bait. We also pitched Tight-Line jigs around boat houses that presentation was also successful for numbers.
Fishing is good, hopefully we will get some cold weather for a few weeks, if not we will see way to much grass this spring and it will slow the fishing considerably.
