Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 2/18/17
The up and down weather change with one day being cold and windy the next being warm and rain seems to have affected to a same degree the fishing. We had a day or two where the fishing was good and then the weather would change and the bite would go away with the weather swings.
Although this is somewhat common in the winter it appears to me to be more accentuated this winter as the fish acted like they were tied to a light switch this past week with the on/off switch being drastic. When we did catch them we are still fishing SPRO Aruka Shad rattle baits, Missile bait new "48" stick bait and Tight-Line swim jigs rigged with Missile bait swim baits. Fish were very spot-oriented and not all areas were created equal.
Come fish with me no one will treat you better or work harder to see you have a great time on the water; I have days and guides available to fish with you. March is sizing up to be a great month; I believe there will be an early spawn the grass will not totally be gone this year because of the warm temperatures and March should be one of our better months. We fish with great sponsor products Vicious Line, Navionics mapping, Lowrance Electronics, Ranger Boats and more.
