Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 3/2/14
We are experiencing a typical North Alabama winter with cold fronts moving in and out about every five days; if your timing on the water was right this past week you had a great day if it wasn't you struggled until the day warmed and the bass moved up. The good news was the bites were generally good fish making for big smiles when that big hog broke the water on its way to the boat.
We saw every day improve for the most part especially in the afternoon and later part of the day. We had some decent sacks of best five fish, this past week with good solid fish on most trips. The lake is getting crowded especially on the weekends you have to pick your spots and hope for the best.
We caught fish this past week on Missile Bait D-Bombs rigged Texas style and also on Tight-Line football head jigs as trailers; the week also featured several SPRO products, like Little John 60 square bill crank baits and their rattle bait the Aruka Shad. The improvement continues, good days are upon us and the fun has just begun. Come fish with me know one will treat you better or work harder to see you have a good day on the water!
