Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 3/11/17
With the up and down weather, change was constant for me; it went from warm too cold to windy and high pressure as all those elements changed all week long so did the fishing. The thing is this is very typical this time of year so dealing with constant change is something all fisherman in the spring have to deal with; the results is that we had some good days and we struggled some.
It appears to me with the constant change there was no real pattern as far as depth is concerned one day you find them deep and the next you were kicking up mud; it's just the way it is until we get some consistency in the temperature. We had one day where there was a top water bite where we caught fish on a SPRO frog, that was fun and then they moved and we had to bring out the deep crank baits to get a bit. There was some common thread in the SPRO Aruka Shad rattle bait, one day they wanted red when the water was muddy and the next we were using gold.
Come fish with me no one will treat you better or work harder to see you have a great day on the water; its spring break time I have guides available at the last minute for you to book for a short notice fishing trip. We fish with great sponsor baits, Vicious line, Duckett rods and reels, Ranger Boats, power pole, Lowrance Electronics and more. Thank you for your business.
