Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 3/31/18
Changes in the fishing all week was obvious as it appears the movement to the first big wave of spawning fish moved the fish quit-a-bit over the week. You had to constantly adjust, and every day made for some challenging changes. We were on the front side of a full moon adding lots of night time feeding. We caught fish, but it wasn’t as good as its been but still had some great times on the water.
We stuck with most the baits we have been catching fish on with the SPRO Aruka Shad rattle bait still being the best catcher of the week. As the fish move deeper into the spawn we should see a slow-down of the fast-moving baits changing our approach to Missile Bait D-Bombs and D-Stroyers being a great choice for the bedding fish. Also, the Tight-Jig should really produce some great fish as they approach the bedding areas.
Come fish with me and my team of experienced guides we are the best on the lake and have years and years of guiding experience. We fish with great sponsor products Vicious Line, Duckett rods and reels, T&H marine products, Boat Logix mounts and more.
