Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 3/4/17
We went from late April type weather back to normal temps with cold nights and 50's during the day, that change definitely had some effect on the fishing. I personally worked through the changed and kept in touch with the fish; I believe I was just lucky.
It appeared to me that the bass were lethargic early in the day forcing us to slow down and fish Missile bait "48" stick baits and just keep them on the bottom and shake them before moving it. As the day changed and the sun came up the movement and aggressiveness changed and we were able to go back to reaction baits like Tight-Line swim jigs rigged with Missile bait shock wave swim baits, SPRO rattle baits and Picasso Shock Blade chatter baits. The bigger fish definitely were more aggressive on up in the day.
The spring so far is going good, fishing is good we are having fun the nicer weather has made the winter more bearable for sure. Come fish with me no one will treat you better or work harder to see you have a great day on the water. I have days and guides available to fish with you we are all licensed captains.
