Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 3/29/14
Unfortunately we are still in the midst of severe weather changes, making your time on the water slightly productive with catching verses fishing being quit different. We are still spending hours on the water with slow activity and at some point during the day if you're in the right place at the right time you catch some fish. I just have to believe that the end of these ups and downs is upon us and we should see the bite be more consistent as we move forward into the spring.
The good news is we did see some top water activity especially in the warming part of the days and if you like getting an early SPRO frog bite your primed to do so this next couple of weeks. The bigger fish are definitely hitting the jig for me better than any other bait I have been using. I really like to fish a jig as it has been a big fish bait for me for years and can make for a fun trip on the water.
Come fish with me, many good days ahead and the fun in the sun has just begun!
