Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 4/9/16
The past week was a weather challenge for sure, as we struggled every day with strong winds and tough conditions all week long; fishing had its ups and downs with some decent results and some not so! There was no doubt that staying on a bite proved to be a tough request even with power poles the 30 mph winds made it difficult.
The good news for me was the Tight-Line swim jig bite was the key as we caught several fish on swim jigs rigged with Missile bait Shock Wave swim baits; we mainly fished their ½ oz. in shad color with good results. We also fished Tight-Line football jigs, Missile bait D-Stroyers and D-Bombs all producing bites at different times during the week. I personally believe that the bass are still staging and not really moved up in big numbers as we caught several fish that had very little color.
Come fish with me, no one will treat you better; we have guides and days available to fish with you. We fish with great sponsor baits, Duckett rods, Vicious Line and more.
