Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 4/28/18
The week was as good as its been as fishing on Guntersville continues to be super and the best in many years; we faced a variety of weather conditions with extremely heavy rain dominating Thursday and the fish liked it. We are slowly seeing post spawn fish showing up and this could be a great May.
We caught numbers, size and some really-active fish most of the week; making the Picasso Spinner bait bite as good as I’ve seen it in a long time. The bite was strong, and they hit the spinner bait especially in the rain making it lots of fun. We also fished Picasso under-spins the key was ticking the bottom with it causing reaction bites with the bait. It was a great week some down time in the bright sunny days but we didn’t see much of that and hence time on the water was active.
