Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 4/7/18
What a difference a year has made on Guntersville, it’s the best fishing has been in several years and this past week was as impressive as I can remember. Sure, there is some normal pattern swings with the cold weather systems but if you kept at it, each day stood on its own and the fish cooperated.
The fish are shallow, bedding everywhere and slowing down for me was the key to catching many fish each day. Stay in the 2 to 4 ft. water and just explore every bite with your boat by circling around the bites and you will catch lots of fish. The bass are in classic spawning locations your memory of some of those spots is your best starting places. If you do you will catch fish from 6 inches to 4 plus pounds and have a blast. We stuck with Missile Bait D-Bombs, their “48” stick baits and caught fish all day long. I also explored the swim bait bite with Missile Shock Wave swim baits rigged on Tight-Line swim jig and caught fish.
Come fish with me I have days and guides available to fish with you, we can fill most any request as my team is always ready to fish. We work hard to make your day fun, no one treats your better and our experience is second to none. We fish with great sponsor products, Lowrance Electronics, T&H Marine, Vicious Line, Duckett rods, Ranger Boats and more.
