Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 4/20/13
A variety of weather produces a variety of fishing presentation; you had to be on your game this past week to stay on the active fish. The weather forced change and so did the transitioning fish, as you were constantly adjusting during the week to catch fish. The weather tightened up the bite and the transitioning fish from spawn to post spawn had you moving to deeper water especially early in the day.
The weather really caused us to slow down and work areas completely especially if we knew the area we were fishing had fish in it; you just had to keep that worm on the bottom, shake it and let it bring the bite to you. The results were great with several high number catches like 50 or more fish at some point during the week.
Great week, great customers, a variety of fish from little to seven plus pounds but always fun. It is just a blessed time of year on Guntersville for the fisherman.
