Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 5/14/16
The increase in the last week from catches to bigger fish was very noticeable, numbers were up size was good and bites increased daily. A definite pick up all week long, hopefully this will increase again and the long term bite and activity will show great improvements over this next week and on into the rest of the year.
I think the warming air and water temperatures will group the fish up and some of the more traditional spots and locations on the lake will also show improvement. Although we mainly caught fish on Tight-Line swim jigs rigged with Missile Bait shock Wave swim baits there was also been a worm bite and a deep crank bait bite that started to evolve over this past week. The big worm bite was in a little deeper water area along with the SPRO DD 70 Little John crank bait that also produced over the week. I believe the deep bite will be very strong in the next week as we continue to get more heat.
Come fish with me no one will treat you better or work harder to see you have a great day on the water. I have licensed USCG guides available to fish with you. We fish with great sponsor baits like Navionics, Lowrance, Picasso, Duckett, and more.
