Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 5/19/18
After the 1st week of May slowed by transition fish this past week it came alive again and we were back catching good fish, good numbers and having days to remember on Guntersville. It all turned with some rainy type weather, some grass starting to show in some of the traditional grassy areas and some chasing going on all day long.
Top water, search baits and worms in 8 to 10 ft. of water, if you found any type of chasing the top water was on if not you just had to fish the grass. We stuck to our work horse baits, Missile bait “48” stick baits, Picasso buzz baits, Tight-Line swim jigs were our successful baits for the week. Each bait had its good times and produced at some point during the day.
