Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 5/27/17
There is some good news with the constant up and down temperatures, the lake water has maintained in the mid 70's keeping the fish more active in the shallow water. It's probably not what the deep ledge guy wants to hear but if you're more of shallow water fisherman this weather constantly changing is extending the easy bite making this May one of the best I can remember.
We have consistently caught fish in less than 10 ft. of water rolling Tight-Line swim jigs, Picasso chatter baits and more having lots of fun. This week we caught tons of fish day-in and out catching them with all different patterns from top water to 25 ft. ledges. One morning the spook bite was on, the next we were fishing grass with swim baits; it's a great time on Guntersville for sure. It's also true that the worm bite keeps getting better; we have been using the Missile bait "48' stick bait a lot on a light weighted Texas rig around the grass edges and having fun doing it.
Come fish with me no one will treat you better or work harder to see that you have a great time on the water. We are in the middle of the best times on Guntersville don't let it pass bye without getting to the lake and enjoying the good times. I have days and guides available to fish with you. We fish with great sponsor products, Ranger Boats, Lowrance Electronics, Navionics mapping, Yamaha Motors and more.
