Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 5-29-16
The heat got cranked up this past week on Guntersville moving the fish to different patterns and locations as compared to the last month. If you did enough scanning with your Lowrance Structure Scan you found bigger groups in deep water for the first time this month. The good news was you could sure see them stacking up in deep channel locations; the bad news was they were not real cooperative.
We caught fish but you worked for them and the deep bite I have been dreaming of on SPRO crank baits was spotty at best. The best presentation was Tight-Line football jigs rigged with Missile Bait D-Bomb trailers and a Punisher Hail Mary rigged also with a D-Bomb. The swim jig bite was ok you can see it fading some except early in the morning.
The fish are on the move, you'll have to work hard to get on them good, with the deeper bite showing up I hope that they will stay put on some spots for a few days at a time allowing you to go back to your fish for more than one day.
Come fish with me no one will treat you better or work harder to see you have a great time on the water; I have licensed USCG guides available to fish with you.
