Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 5/5/18
We started out the week with the bass in transition, as they were on the move from the spawn and moving to different locations as the warmer water and higher daytime temperatures set the tone for the week. As the week progressed they found new locations and we just had a blast catching fish, lots of fish and big fish.
It appears the bass are in the 4 to 8 ft. of depth, chasing and healing up from the spawn. We caught fish on several baits, including Picasso Spinner baits, SPRO square bills, Tight-Line swim jigs with Missile Bait shock wave swim baits. Once you found the grass you found their new locations and it was on! Our week was as good as its been all year, good numbers, good size and lots of action as we targeted their new locations.
