Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 5/14/11
This past week was as good as it gets on Guntersville, the bass are hitting all kinds of different baits from soft plastic worms, crank baits to Punisher Spinner Baits, and if you wanted the big bite Tight-Line jigs in black and blue are producing the bigger bites. It didn't take a lot of work to get bites or land some good numbers of fish; fishing was relatively easy for the average fisherman.
This past week I spent three days fishing with a group that included the Head Basketball Coach of West Virginia Bob Huggins, he and a group of eight fished all week with us, they had a blast and we did also.
Fishing is great; the bass are moving and feeding all over the lake. If you haven't been on the water lately it is time to do so. You can't miss right now; if you can fish a worm you can catch a fish.
